The new iPhones will have a similar design as the iPad pro. Apple seems to be going back to the iPhone 4 design. This design includes a square edged stainless-steel frame between two pieces of glass. A14
chip
TSMC will manufacture the 5-nanometer chips which will be used in the next set of iPhones. The chips will be smaller, faster and more battery efficient.

Battery
The new iPhones will include the same battery from the previous version, but rumours have it, Apple will apply a small gain to the battery capacity. Apple is working on developing a protection module that is much smaller which can allow more battery space.
Camera
When coming to the module of the iPhone we know that Apple made changes of last year's model. Rumour suggest that the new models will feature the LiDAR Scanner feature which is also featured on the iPad pro.
The sensor itself is used to reflect light to measure the distance from the sensor to surrounding objects. So far rumour has it that the two higher-end iPhones coming in 2020 will use the new time-of-flight rear camera. However, this may not be featured on the lower-end models. When coming to the higher-end models there could be a chance that they may get improved telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Furthermore, there are rumours that the higher-end iPhone will be getting sensor-shift image stabilisation technology.

TrueDepth Camera system
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo there will be an iPhone which could feature a smaller front camera lens. The reason for this is to improve screen to bezel ratio which can give the iPhone a smaller notch. Furthermore, the analyst has said that there will be one iPhone with no notch or Face ID. There could be a fingerprint sensor underneath the display.

5G
All the future iPhone models in 2020 will feature the 5G connectivity. This also means that they will feature the Qualcomm X55 5G modem chip.
This chip can offer 7Gb/s peak download speeds and 3gb/s upload speeds. The chip is Qualcomm's first 5G chip that can support all major frequency bands, operation modes and network deployments.
