What to expect from Apple 2020

Apple is one of the most successful companies when coming to smartphones, Laptops, Smart watches and so on. Apple had many successful events in the year including the Apple Airpods Pro which are selling. While there were successful events, there were also failures such as MacBook keyboards getting recalled.

The year 2020 maybe Apple's busiest year as there could be an unveiling of new tech coming your way. Through accurate rumour's and estimations I will tell you what Apple may have planned for this year.

iPhone 12

Apple releases a new smartphone every year, so the possibility of an iPhone 12 is most certain. Apple like to release to models which are the standard iPhone and the Pro range. This pattern will most likely continue with the iPhone 12. This will be introduced on the Apple event in September.

To continue the new line-up will concentrate on camera quality the most and they could feature USB-C instead of the lightening cable. New iPad Pro

Apple released a new design of the Apple iPad Pro in 2018. The device came out strong with the new design and features that came with it like the redesigned Apple Pencil. 2020 will be the year of a new iPad PRO. There will be an improvement of the processor and the camera which could feature 3D depth sensing.

Furthermore, there could also be an iPad Air but due to the design staying the same, there might not be a big change this year.

MacBook Pro 14-inch

We know that the 16-inch MacBook Pro was released with the bigger screen and scissor mechanism keyboard. This could mean that Apple might be preparing a 14-inch due to moving back to the scissor mechanism keyboard.

Rumours are that Apple wants to drop the intel processor and use a built processor instead, this might be early to suspect. Speaking of keyboards, there might be a MacBook Air that will feature the keyboard and a speed boost.

Apple Watch Series 6

If you looked at my 2020 iPhone blog you would know that Apple may add a screen integrated Fingerprint sensor. The same could be applied to the Apple Watch. This can save you time and effort typing in your password. Furthermore, there can also be an improved battery due to the always-on display.

Audio

The recent Airpods Pro and the previous models have been successful in sales. 2020 could be the year to release a pair of on-ear headphones. The Beats line of headphones gave Apple what they needed to understand how the headphones work, so it is just a matter of time, Apple will release their own brand of headphones.

HomePod 2

The first HomePod was released a little while ago. There could be another one, expecting to be released. The difference could be a cheaper, yet smaller speaker range. There competitors are Amazon Alexa who are very good at selling their line of smart speakers.

Apple TV+

Apple TV shows are being watched on Apple TV+. Rumours are that Apple will continue with this to ensure that customers will sign up for this and use the platform. Other platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime are competitors against Apple. Apple is trying to get their platform number 1 by introducing new shows.

Furthermore, like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Apple will try to get their platform on TV's as well.

Other Potential Rumours

At the moment there is a big rumour about Tile. Tile is a tracker used to track certain objects such as keys and so on. Apple may use this for their products. Furthermore rumours suggest that Apple may develop a pair of AR glasses. This is probably unlikely to happen but if it was to happen it would have the functionality of augmented reality through various apps.

Overall

So overall, we can expect a new iPhone, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro 14-inch, Apple watch Series 6, new audio, HomePod 2, Apple TV+, Tracker and AR glasses.
